What you Should Expect from Pilates Exercise Instructions

Pilates, like yoga refers to a model or a set of exercises that aim at improving the body’s overall stamina, muscles, strength, mental capacity and so on. Pilates is a regime of exercises that many times is confused with yoga. Maybe because this too uses breathing control in many exercises to achieve the end result – the perfect and healthy body.

Pilates is named after George Pilates, a German citizen who invented this type of exercise. History indicates that George had fallen sick and threatened with total paralysis at about 14 years old. In order to circumvent is fate, he worked hard and contributed to the compilation of a number of physical exercises that helped his body make a total recovery.

Ever since, this style of exercise have been known as Pilates and millions of people from all over the world have learned this system through the hundreds of centers that are spread in all corners of the globe.  The pilates exercise instructions are basically strengthening of the different muscles by improving your posture and breathing styles. The pilates exercise instructions are usually concentrating on balancing the body through different type positions and machines.

There are six principles that the pilates exercise instructions are based upon, and these are: (i) centering, (ii) precision, (iii) control, (iv) concentration, (v) flowing movement, and (vi) breathing.

The pilates exercise instructions are simple and concise, though the regime is pretty difficult to master without a concentrated and constant effort.
